Here are the steps to prevent breast cancer :

• Practice breast self-examination, preferably once a month after the menstrual period.
• Ideally, do it in the shower, using soap or cream.
• Look for changes in breast size, shape or texture.
• Look for lumps, nodules or tender areas
• Don’t forget to inspect the armpits too
• Consult a health care professional if you find anything unusual.
