From a medical innovation to expertise available for your projects
It all began with MATTISSE, the tissue engineering chamber (TEC) developed by Lattice Medical. To turn this innovation into a medical device, we had to develop much more than a 3D printing technology: a true mastery of materials, processes and manufacturing.
A demanding medical device
Designing a bioresorbable structure intended to support tissue regeneration requires control over many parameters: architecture, material properties, behavior during printing, and part reproducibility. To meet these requirements, Lattice Medical chose to develop its own skills and manufacturing capabilities.
From material to process
Material is at the heart of medical additive manufacturing. Lattice Medical has therefore developed expertise in the selection, formulation and extrusion of medical-grade polymers, as well as in their implementation through 3D printing. This mastery of the material-process chain allows us to adapt our solutions to the requirements of each application.
Production in a controlled environment
To move from development to manufacturing, Lattice Medical has a 3D printing platform installed in a cleanroom. It allows work in a controlled environment, with an approach suited to the requirements of medical device development and manufacturing.
